Eight characters, off your invoices or the Companies House website. It tells us what you are registered as doing.
Self-employed or a sole trader? You will not have a company number, and you do not need one. Put your website in on its own, or skip this step: it changes nothing about the plan you get.
We send these two to our own server so we can read your public page and your Companies House record. Both are already public. Skip this step and nothing is sent at all.
Your answers are worked out in your browser and your plan is produced there, so none of it is sent to us. The only exceptions are the website address and company number on the first screen, which go to our server when you press Look me up so we can read your public page and the public register.
